Learning to Differentiate Between God and the Evil One
Updated: Jun 18, 2020
It is important for us to remember that living in The Spirit is an incredible blessing. It is an amazing opportunity for God to be with us every step of the way as we move forward in our lives. We should remember to focus our minds and our hearts on The Word Who is Jesus and let Him guide us to the path that is best for us according to The Father.
We must understand that God is Love.
It helps us to understand what love is.
According to 1 Corinthians Chapter 13 verses 4-7 (NIV),
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking ,it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
If one were to encounter a spiritual being that does not love, they should call upon the Name of Jesus and be saved.
Let's never let go of Jesus as He never lets go of us, His friends and loved ones.
Thanks to God!
An important thing to note is that God's mercy is infinite. He will forgive you for any wrong that you have done (except blasphemy of The Holy Spirit).
What may help us to discern even further is if any thought or idea is used to
it may NOT be from God but from Satan.
We should note that moderate amounts of guilt that we experience after committing a sin may be from God. It seems that when guilt is completely removed after one has committed a sin, it may leave one open to attacks that lead to pride and other such sins.
