The enemy can not understand your thoughts if you are in Christ!
Updated: Jun 27
For those that are in Christ, the enemy can not understand your thoughts according to John 1:5.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

This means that if we adhere to The Word and be careful what we say, the enemy may not have any idea what to ask the Father for to tempt us because it has nothing to tempt us with. (If we are living lives where we are not gluttons, a tempting thought to suddenly eat foods that are bad for us may not be convincing!) (It is interesting to note that the legion in the Gadarene men asked Jesus to be sent to the pigs and Jesus obliged.)
However, if we say things like "I am an angry and hateful person," and we believe that we are, we might be giving the enemy opportunities to work in its favor.
11 What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”
The New International Version. (2011). (Mt 15:11). Grand Rapids, MI: Zondervan. 18 But the words you speak come from the heart—that’s what defiles you.

We should be careful what we say and believe!
